जीवितं निष्फलं स्वामिन्मम ते सह बांधवैः । यस्येदृशी गृहे कन्या तिष्ठते भर्तृवर्ज्जिता
jīvitaṃ niṣphalaṃ svāminmama te saha bāṃdhavaiḥ | yasyedṛśī gṛhe kanyā tiṣṭhate bhartṛvarjjitā
என் ஆண்டவனே! இத்தகைய மகள் கணவரின்றி வீட்டில் தங்கியிருக்கும் வரை, என் வாழ்வும் உமது வாழ்வும் நம் உறவினரின் வாழ்வும் பயனற்றதே.
