ईश्वर उवाच । शृणु देवि प्रवक्ष्यामि तस्मिन्दृष्टे तु यत्फलम् । गोशतस्य प्रयागेषु सम्यग्दत्तस्य यत्फलम् । तत्फलं समवाप्नोति नागरार्कस्य दर्शनात्
īśvara uvāca | śṛṇu devi pravakṣyāmi tasmindṛṣṭe tu yatphalam | gośatasya prayāgeṣu samyagdattasya yatphalam | tatphalaṃ samavāpnoti nāgarārkasya darśanāt
ஈஸ்வரன் கூறினார்—தேவி, கேள்; அதனை தரிசித்ததின் பலனை நான் உரைக்கிறேன். பிரயாகங்களில் முறையாக நூறு பசுக்களை தானம் செய்தால் கிடைக்கும் புண்ணியம், ‘நாகரார்க’ தரிசனத்தால் அதேபோல் கிடைக்கும்.
