द्रोणपुत्रसहायेन पापेन कृतवर्मणा । समाप्तं चायुरस्याद्य यशश्चापि सुमध्यमे
droṇaputrasahāyena pāpena kṛtavarmaṇā | samāptaṃ cāyurasyādya yaśaścāpi sumadhyame
துரோணர் மகனின் (அஸ்வத்தாமாவின்) உதவியாளரான பாவி கிருதவர்மாவினால் (இது செய்யப்பட்டது). ஓ அழகிய இடையை உடையவளே! இன்று இவனது ஆயுளும் புகழும் முடிந்துவிட்டன.
