ते वै सांबं समानिन्युर्भूषयित्वा स्त्रियं यथा । अब्रुवन्नुपसंगम्य देवदंडनिपीडिताः
te vai sāṃbaṃ samāninyurbhūṣayitvā striyaṃ yathā | abruvannupasaṃgamya devadaṃḍanipīḍitāḥ
அவர்கள் சாம்பனை பெண்ணைப் போல அலங்கரித்து முன்னே கொண்டு வந்தனர்; பின்னர் தெய்வத் தண்டனையின் அழுத்தத்தால் உந்தப்பட்டு முனிவர்களை அணுகி பேசினர்.
