उदयास्तमने नित्यं पर्यस्तः स्याद्दिवाकरः । व्यदृश्यत सकृत्पुंभिः कबन्धैः परिवारितः
udayāstamane nityaṃ paryastaḥ syāddivākaraḥ | vyadṛśyata sakṛtpuṃbhiḥ kabandhaiḥ parivāritaḥ
சூரியோதயமும் சூரியாஸ்தமனமும் நேரங்களில் சூரியன் எப்போதும் சிதைந்ததுபோல் தோன்றினான். சில வேளைகளில் மனிதர்க்கு, தலை இல்லாத உடல்கள் (கபந்தங்கள்) சூழ்ந்ததுபோல் அவன் காணப்பட்டான்—அச்சமூட்டும் காட்சி.
