क्षेत्रपालो महादेवि यतो दुंदुभिनिःस्वनः । तत्र स्नात्वा महाकुण्डे यः संतर्पयते पितॄन्
kṣetrapālo mahādevi yato duṃdubhiniḥsvanaḥ | tatra snātvā mahākuṇḍe yaḥ saṃtarpayate pitṝn
“மகாதேவி, துந்துபியின் ஒலி கேட்கும் இடத்தில் க்ஷேத்ரபாலன் இருக்கிறான். அங்கே மகாகுண்டத்தில் நீராடி, யார் பித்ருக்களை திருப்திப்படுத்துகிறாரோ…”
