दक्षिणे शतमेधं तु शतयज्ञफलप्रदम् । कार्तवीर्य्येण तत्रैव कृतं यज्ञशतं पुरा
dakṣiṇe śatamedhaṃ tu śatayajñaphalapradam | kārtavīryyeṇa tatraiva kṛtaṃ yajñaśataṃ purā
தெற்கில் சதமேத லிங்கம் உள்ளது; அது நூறு யாகங்களின் பலனை அளிக்கும். முற்காலத்தில் கார்த்தவீர்யன் அங்கேயே நூறு யாகங்களைச் செய்தான்.
