सप्तमोऽहं महादेव आत्रेय इति विश्रुतः । प्राचेतसेन दक्षेण शप्तस्त्वां शरणं गतः । रक्ष मां देवदेवेश क्षयिणं पापरोगिणम्
saptamo'haṃ mahādeva ātreya iti viśrutaḥ | prācetasena dakṣeṇa śaptastvāṃ śaraṇaṃ gataḥ | rakṣa māṃ devadeveśa kṣayiṇaṃ pāparogiṇam
மகாதேவா! நான் ஏழாவது; ‘ஆத்ரேயன்’ எனப் புகழ்பெற்றவன். பிரசேதஸின் புதல்வன் தக்ஷன் இட்ட சாபத்தால் துன்புற்று உமது சரணடைந்தேன். தேவர்களின் தேவனே! பாவநோயால் வாடி சிதையும் என்னை காத்தருள்வாயாக.
