दक्ष उवाच । मया शापहतः सोम त्रातुं शक्यो न दैवतैः । यद्यद्ब्रवीम्यहं सोम तत्तथेति न संशयः
dakṣa uvāca | mayā śāpahataḥ soma trātuṃ śakyo na daivataiḥ | yadyadbravīmyahaṃ soma tattatheti na saṃśayaḥ
தக்ஷன் கூறினான்—ஓ சோமா, என் சாபத்தால் தாக்கப்பட்ட உன்னை தேவர்களாலும் காக்க இயலாது. ஆனால் ஓ சோமா, நான் சொல்வது எதுவோ அது அப்படியே நிகழும்; ஐயமில்லை.
