ब्रह्मलोकमहं नीतो मुनिभिस्तात सप्तभिः । उक्तोऽयं ब्रह्मणा कल्पस्यादौ चान्ते च मे सखा
brahmalokamahaṃ nīto munibhistāta saptabhiḥ | ukto'yaṃ brahmaṇā kalpasyādau cānte ca me sakhā
மார்கண்டேயன் கூறினான்—தந்தையே, ஏழு முனிவர்கள் என்னை பிரம்மலோகத்திற்குக் கொண்டு சென்றனர். அங்கே பிரம்மா கூறினார்—‘கல்பத்தின் ஆதியிலும் அந்தத்திலும் இவன் என் நண்பனாக இருப்பான்.’
