tasmātsarvaprayatnena pūjayedvācakaṃ budhaḥ | anyathā niṣphalaṃ tasya pustakaśravaṇaṃ bhavet

ஆகையால் அறிவுடையவன் எல்லா முயற்சியாலும் வாசகரை பூஜித்து மரியாதை செய்ய வேண்டும்; இல்லையெனில் அவனுக்குப் புத்தக-ஸ்ரவணம் பயனற்றதாகும்.
