अपां मध्ये स्थिता देवाः सर्वमप्सु प्रतिष्ठितम् । ब्राह्मणस्य करे न्यस्ताः शिवा आपो भवन्तु नः
apāṃ madhye sthitā devāḥ sarvamapsu pratiṣṭhitam | brāhmaṇasya kare nyastāḥ śivā āpo bhavantu naḥ
நீரின் நடுவே தேவர்கள் நிலைகொள்கிறார்கள்; அனைத்தும் நீரிலேயே நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ளது. பிராமணரின் கரத்தில் வைக்கப்பட்ட அந்த நீர் எங்களுக்கு சிவமயமாக, மங்களகரமாக ஆகுக।
