कारण्डवैः प्लवैर्हंसैः कूर्मैर्मंडुभिरेव च । एतैरन्यैश्च कीर्णानि तथान्यैर्जलवा सिभिः
kāraṇḍavaiḥ plavairhaṃsaiḥ kūrmairmaṃḍubhireva ca | etairanyaiśca kīrṇāni tathānyairjalavā sibhiḥ
அந்த ஏரிகள் காரண்டவ வாத்துகள், ப்லவப் பறவைகள், அன்னங்கள்; மேலும் ஆமைகள், தவளைகள் ஆகியவற்றாலும் நிரம்பி, பல்வேறு நீர்வாழ் உயிர்களால் பரவியிருந்தன।
