भावित्वात्कर्मणो देवि दक्षस्याज्ञाव्यतिक्रमात् । समं वर्त्तस्व भार्याभिरित्युक्तः शशलांछनः
bhāvitvātkarmaṇo devi dakṣasyājñāvyatikramāt | samaṃ varttasva bhāryābhirityuktaḥ śaśalāṃchanaḥ
தேவி, விதிவசமான கர்மத்தின் விளைவாலும் தக்ஷனின் ஆணையை மீறியதாலும் ‘சசலாஞ்சன’ சந்திரனிடம்—“உன் மனைவியருடன் சமமாக நட” என்று கூறப்பட்டது.
