तस्य चेयं परा माया कला शिरसि धारिता । सा शक्तिर्देवदेवस्य विश्वाकारा परा प्रिये । मोहयित्वा तु संतानं संसारयति पार्वति
tasya ceyaṃ parā māyā kalā śirasi dhāritā | sā śaktirdevadevasya viśvākārā parā priye | mohayitvā tu saṃtānaṃ saṃsārayati pārvati
அப் பரம்பொருளின் இப் பரா மாயை—‘கலா’—தலையில் தாங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அன்பே! தேவர்களின் தேவனான அவனுடைய அந்த உன்னத சக்தி உலகவடிவமாய் இருந்து சந்ததியரை மயக்கி, பார்வதியே, அவர்களைச் சம்சாரத்தில் அலைக்கழிக்கிறது.
