ईश्वर उवाच । तस्यैव पश्चिमे भागे नातिदूरे व्यवस्थितम् । चण्डिका कर्ममोटी च योगिनी कोटिसंयुता । पीठत्रयं महादेवि आद्यं त्रैलोक्यवन्दितम्
īśvara uvāca | tasyaiva paścime bhāge nātidūre vyavasthitam | caṇḍikā karmamoṭī ca yoginī koṭisaṃyutā | pīṭhatrayaṃ mahādevi ādyaṃ trailokyavanditam
ஈஸ்வரன் கூறினார்—அதன் மேற்குப் பகுதியில், அதிகத் தூரமல்லாமல், சண்டிகா, கர்மமோடி, மேலும் கோடி சக்திகளுடன் கூடிய யோகினியுடன் ஒரு புனித பீடம் உள்ளது. மகாதேவி, இது மூன்று பீடங்களின் தொகுதி; இதில் முதலாவது பீடம் மூவுலகிலும் வணங்கப்படுகிறது।
