केतुं कृण्वेति केतुं वै सततं पूजयेद्बुधः । बाह्यतः पूर्वतः शुक्रं दक्षिणेन यमं तथा
ketuṃ kṛṇveti ketuṃ vai satataṃ pūjayedbudhaḥ | bāhyataḥ pūrvataḥ śukraṃ dakṣiṇena yamaṃ tathā
‘கேதும் க்ருண்வேதி’ மந்திரத்தால் ஞானி இடையறாது கேதுவை வழிபட வேண்டும். வெளிப்புறத்தில் கிழக்கே சுக்கிரன்; அதுபோல தெற்கே யமன் உள்ளான்.
