हंसः शुचिषदिति मंत्रेणानेन पूजयेत् । अपत्येतेति मन्त्रेण सूर्यं देवि प्रपूजयेत्
haṃsaḥ śuciṣaditi maṃtreṇānena pūjayet | apatyeteti mantreṇa sūryaṃ devi prapūjayet
‘ஹம்ஸஃ சுசிஷத்…’ என்ற மந்திரத்தால் பூஜை செய்ய வேண்டும்; மேலும் தேவியே! ‘அபத்யேதே…’ மந்திரத்தால் சூரியனை மிகுந்த பக்தியுடன் சிறப்பாகப் பூஜிக்க வேண்டும்।
