तालं तमालं भल्लातं तिंतिणीखंडमेव वा । बकुलं कदलीखंडं कदंबः खदिरोऽपि वा
tālaṃ tamālaṃ bhallātaṃ tiṃtiṇīkhaṃḍameva vā | bakulaṃ kadalīkhaṃḍaṃ kadaṃbaḥ khadiro'pi vā
பனை, தமால மரம், பல்லாதம் அல்லது திந்திணி புதர்; பகுலம், வாழைக் கூட்டம், கடம்பம் அல்லது கதீரம்—இவை வீட்டிடத்தில் இருந்தாலும் அவையும் அந்த அறிகுறிகளாகக் கணிக்கப்படும்।
