का देवता व्रते तस्मिन्के मन्त्राः किं फलं विभो । विस्तरेण महेश त्वं ब्रूहि धर्मं सनातनम्
kā devatā vrate tasminke mantrāḥ kiṃ phalaṃ vibho | vistareṇa maheśa tvaṃ brūhi dharmaṃ sanātanam
அந்த விரதத்தில் எந்த தேவதை வழிபடப்பட வேண்டும், எந்த மந்திரங்கள் ஜபிக்கப்பட வேண்டும், அதன் பலன் என்ன, ஓ பிரபுவே? ஓ மஹேசா! இந்த சனாதன தர்மத்தை விரிவாக உரையுங்கள்.
