khaḍgena tīkṣṇadhāreṇa chittvā śīrṣaṃ tadā mama | ulkāhastā nirīkṣanto nāpaśyansvarṇamaṇvapi

அப்போது கூர்மையான வாளால் அவர்கள் என் தலையைத் துண்டித்தனர். கையில் தீப்பந்தங்களை ஏந்தித் தேடியும், அவர்களுக்குச் சிறிதளவு தங்கமும் தென்படவில்லை.
