ஒருவன் செய்யும் எந்தப் பாவமாயினும்—புறங்கூறு, நன்றிக்கேடு, நண்பன் துரோகம், பிறர் மனைவியைக் கெடுப்பதன் பாவம்—குண்டத்தில் நீராடுவதில் ஈடுபட்டவனுக்கு அவை அனைத்தும் கரைந்து போகும்.
