ईश्वर उवाच । इत्युक्ता ऋषयो देवि लज्जयाऽनतकन्धराः । प्रत्यालोच्य यथान्यायं वसिष्ठं समनूद्वहन्
īśvara uvāca | ityuktā ṛṣayo devi lajjayā'natakandharāḥ | pratyālocya yathānyāyaṃ vasiṣṭhaṃ samanūdvahan
ஈஸ்வரர் கூறினார்—தேவி! இவ்வாறு சொல்லப்பட்டதும் முனிவர்கள் வெட்கத்தால் தலை குனிந்தனர். பின்னர் முறையோடு ஆலோசித்து வசிஷ்டரை (அதை ஏற்க) ஊக்குவித்தனர்.
