ईश्वर उवाच । ततो गच्छेन्महादेवि गौरीं सौभाग्यदायिनीम् । पश्चिमे रावणेशस्य धनुषां पञ्चके स्थिताम्
īśvara uvāca | tato gacchenmahādevi gaurīṃ saubhāgyadāyinīm | paścime rāvaṇeśasya dhanuṣāṃ pañcake sthitām
ஈஸ்வரன் கூறினார்—மகாதேவி! பின்னர் ராவணேஸ்வரத்தின் மேற்கில் ‘ஐந்து வில்’ அளவிலான இடத்தில் நிலைத்திருக்கும், சௌபாக்யம் அருளும் கௌரியை நாடிச் செல்ல வேண்டும்।
