ராவணனும் மகிழ்ந்து மீண்டும் மீண்டும் மகேஸ்வரனையும் அந்த லிங்கத்தையும் வழிபட்டான். பின்னர் புஷ்பக விமானத்தில் ஏறி, மும்முலக வெற்றியை விரும்பி, தன் விருப்பமான தேசத்திற்குச் சென்றான்.
