ब्राह्मणाय प्रदातव्यं श्रोत्रियाय महात्मने । विष्णुना हि पुरा पृष्टं ब्रह्मणः स्तोत्रमुत्त्मम्
brāhmaṇāya pradātavyaṃ śrotriyāya mahātmane | viṣṇunā hi purā pṛṣṭaṃ brahmaṇaḥ stotramuttmam
இது வேதம் அறிந்த ச்ரோத்ரிய மகாத்மையான பிராமணருக்கே அளிக்கப்பட வேண்டும். ஏனெனில் முற்காலத்தில் விஷ்ணு, பிரம்மாவின் இந்த உத்தம ஸ்தோத்திரத்தைப் பற்றி கேட்டார்.
