तेजोऽसि शुक्रमित्याज्यं देवस्य त्वा कुशोदकम् । आपोहिष्ठेति मंत्रेण पंचगव्येन स्नापयेत्
tejo'si śukramityājyaṃ devasya tvā kuśodakam | āpohiṣṭheti maṃtreṇa paṃcagavyena snāpayet
‘தேஜோऽஸி ஶுக்ரம்’ மந்திரத்தால் நெய்யையும், ‘தேவஸ்ய த்வா’ மந்திரத்தால் குசோதகத்தையும் எடுத்துக் கொண்டு; ‘ஆபோ ஹிஷ்டா’ மந்திரத்தால் பஞ்சகவ்யத்தால் தேவனுக்கு ஸ்நானம் செய்ய வேண்டும்।
