कतिप्रकारास्ते विप्रास्तत्र क्षेत्रनिवासिनः । किमाचारा महादेव किंशीलाः किंपरायणाः
katiprakārāste viprāstatra kṣetranivāsinaḥ | kimācārā mahādeva kiṃśīlāḥ kiṃparāyaṇāḥ
ஓ மகாதேவா! அந்தக் க்ஷேத்திரத்தில் வாழும் விப்ரர்கள் எத்தனை வகையினர்? அவர்களின் ஆச்சாரம் என்ன, குணநிலை எப்படியது, மேலும் எதை அவர்கள் பரம சரணமாகக் கொள்கிறார்கள்?
