ये ब्राह्मणाः सोऽहमसंशयं प्रिये तेष्वर्चितेष्वर्चितोऽहं भवेयम् । तेष्वेव तुष्टेष्वहमेव तुष्टो वैरं च तैर्यस्य ममापि वैरम्
ye brāhmaṇāḥ so'hamasaṃśayaṃ priye teṣvarciteṣvarcito'haṃ bhaveyam | teṣveva tuṣṭeṣvahameva tuṣṭo vairaṃ ca tairyasya mamāpi vairam
அன்பே! அந்தப் பிராமணர்களே சந்தேகமின்றி நானே. அவர்கள் போற்றப்படின் நானும் போற்றப்படுகிறேன்; அவர்கள் திருப்தியடைந்தால் நானும் திருப்தியடைகிறேன். அவர்களிடம் பகை கொள்பவன் என்னிடமும் பகை கொள்கிறான்.
