सांब उवाच । नमस्त्रैलोक्यदीपाय नमस्ते तिमिरापह । नमः पंकजनाथाय नमः कुमुदशत्रवे
sāṃba uvāca | namastrailokyadīpāya namaste timirāpaha | namaḥ paṃkajanāthāya namaḥ kumudaśatrave
சாம்பன் கூறினான்— மும்முலகத் தீபமே, உமக்கு நமஸ்காரம்; இருள் அகற்றுபவனே, உமக்கு நமஸ்காரம். தாமரைநாதனே, உமக்கு நமஸ்காரம்; குமுத (இரவு தாமரை) பகைவனே, உமக்கு நமஸ்காரம்.
