ईश्वर उवाच । य एते द्वादशादित्या विराजन्ते महाबलाः । तेषां यो विष्णुसंज्ञस्तु सर्वलोकेषु विश्रुतः
īśvara uvāca | ya ete dvādaśādityā virājante mahābalāḥ | teṣāṃ yo viṣṇusaṃjñastu sarvalokeṣu viśrutaḥ
ஈசுவரன் கூறினார்—ஒளிரும் இந்தப் பன்னிரண்டு வலிமைமிக்க ஆதித்யர்களில், ‘விஷ்ணு’ என்ற நாமத்தால் எல்லா உலகங்களிலும் புகழ்பெற்றவர் மிகச் சிறப்பாகப் போற்றப்படுகிறார்।
