vārimātreṇa gomatyāṃ piṇḍadāne kṛte kalau | pitṝṇāṃ jāyate tṛptiryāvadābhūtasaṃplavam

கலியுகத்தில் கோமதி நதிக்கரையில் வெறும் நீரால் கூட பிண்டதானம் செய்தால், பித்ருக்கள் பிரளயம் வரையிலும் திருப்தியடைவார்கள்।
