सूत उवाच । इति पृष्टस्तदा तैस्तु महाभागवतोऽसुरः । कथयामास विप्रेभ्यो भगवद्भक्तिसंयुतः
sūta uvāca | iti pṛṣṭastadā taistu mahābhāgavato'suraḥ | kathayāmāsa viprebhyo bhagavadbhaktisaṃyutaḥ
சூதர் கூறினார்—இவ்வாறு அவர்கள் கேட்டபோது, மகாபாகவதனான அந்த அசுரன், பகவத் பக்தியால் நிறைந்தவனாய், பிராமணர்களுக்கு விளக்கத் தொடங்கினான்।
