शालिग्रामशिला नैव यत्र भागवता न हि । त्यजेत्तीर्थं महापुण्यं पुण्यमायतनं त्यजेत्
śāligrāmaśilā naiva yatra bhāgavatā na hi | tyajettīrthaṃ mahāpuṇyaṃ puṇyamāyatanaṃ tyajet
எங்கு சாலிக்ராம-சிலை இல்லை, பகவத பக்தர்களும் இல்லை, அங்கு ‘மகாபுண்ய தீர்த்தம்’ எனப் புகழப்பட்டதையும் விட்டு விட வேண்டும்; அந்தப் புண்ணிய ஆலயத்தையும் துறக்க வேண்டும்।
