kṣetrāṇi mokṣadānyaṃga trailokyajāni nārada | devāśca pitaraḥ siddhā ṛṣayo mānavādayaḥ
“அன்பனே, இவை மோட்சம் அளிக்கும் க்ஷேத்திரங்கள், நாரதா—மூன்று உலகங்களிலும் புகழ்பெற்றவை. இங்கே தேவர்கள், பித்ருக்கள், சித்தர்கள், ரிஷிகள், மனிதர்கள் முதலியோரும் உள்ளனர்.”
Gautamī (Godāvarī)
Tirtha: Mokṣa-dāyaka kṣetra-samūha (collective)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A sacred field shimmering with unseen presences: devas above, pitṛs in subtle forms, siddhas in the sky, ṛṣis seated in meditation, humans gathered reverently as Gautamī indicates the kṣetras’ mokṣa-giving power.
Kṣetras and tīrthas are portrayed as liberation-bestowing and cosmically significant, drawing divine and ancestral presences.
The verse praises sacred kṣetras in general within the Dvārakā-māhātmya setting, emphasizing their fame across the three worlds.
No specific ritual is prescribed; the emphasis is on the sanctity and liberating potency of kṣetras.
