स्मरणात्कीर्तनाद्यस्माद्भुक्तिमुक्ती सदा नृणाम् । दुर्वाससा तु ऋषिणा रक्षिता तिष्ठते पुरी
smaraṇātkīrtanādyasmādbhuktimuktī sadā nṛṇām | durvāsasā tu ṛṣiṇā rakṣitā tiṣṭhate purī
இதனை நினைவு கூர்ந்து கீர்த்திப்பதால் மனிதர்க்கு எப்போதும் போகமும் மோட்சமும் இரண்டும் கிடைக்கும்; ஆகவே துர்வாச முனிவரால் காக்கப்பட்ட இந்நகரம் நிலைத்திருக்கிறது।
