न चान्यत्तीर्थलक्षं तु वर्जयित्वा तु गोमतीम् । गंगा सरस्वती चैव नर्मदा नैव पुष्करम्
na cānyattīrthalakṣaṃ tu varjayitvā tu gomatīm | gaṃgā sarasvatī caiva narmadā naiva puṣkaram
கோமதியைத் தவிர மற்ற இலட்சக் கணக்கான தீர்த்தங்களும் அல்ல—கங்கை, சரஸ்வதி, நர்மதை, புஷ்கரமும் கூட—இவ்விஷயத்தில் அதற்கு இணை இல்லை।
