चन्द्रशर्मोवाच । यदि तात मयाऽज्ञानान्न कृतं द्वादशीव्रतम् । कस्मात्कृतं सशल्यं तु भवद्भिर्द्वादशीव्रतम्
candraśarmovāca | yadi tāta mayā'jñānānna kṛtaṃ dvādaśīvratam | kasmātkṛtaṃ saśalyaṃ tu bhavadbhirdvādaśīvratam
சந்திரசர்மன் கூறினான்—தந்தையே, நான் அறியாமையால் த்வாதசி விரதம் செய்யவில்லை என்றால், நீங்கள் ஏன் குறையுடனான (சசல்ய) த்வாதசி விரதத்தைச் செய்தீர்கள்?
