प्रह्लाद उवाच । कृत्वाऽभिषेकं तीर्थेषु यथावद्दत्त दक्षिणः । पूजयेच्च ततो देवं कृष्णाख्यं पुरुषं परम्

பிரஹ்லாதன் கூறினான்—தீர்த்தங்களில் விதிப்படி நீராடி அபிஷேகம் செய்து, தக்க தக்ஷிணை அளித்த பின், கிருஷ்ணன் எனப்படும் பரம புருஷனாகிய இறைவனை வழிபட வேண்டும்.

Scene: Prahlāda instructs brāhmaṇas/pilgrims: devotees emerge from a tīrtha-bath, offer dakṣiṇā to priests, then approach a Kṛṣṇa shrine with lamps, flowers, and conch; Kṛṣṇa as Puruṣottama is worshiped.
Pilgrimage is completed by devotion and right conduct: purification at tīrthas should culminate in worship of the Supreme Lord and respectful giving (dakṣiṇā).
