सर्वपापविनिर्मुक्तो धनधान्यसमन्वितः । सप्तम्यां माघमासस्य शुक्लपक्षे द्विजर्षभाः । योऽत्र स्नानं प्रकुरुते मानवो भक्तिसंयुतः
sarvapāpavinirmukto dhanadhānyasamanvitaḥ | saptamyāṃ māghamāsasya śuklapakṣe dvijarṣabhāḥ | yo'tra snānaṃ prakurute mānavo bhaktisaṃyutaḥ
இருமுறை பிறந்தோரில் சிறந்தவர்களே! மாக மாதத்தின் சுக்லபட்சத்தின் சப்தமியில் பக்தியுடன் இங்கு நீராடும் மனிதன் எல்லாப் பாவங்களிலிருந்து விடுபட்டு செல்வமும் தானியமும் பெற்றவனாகிறான்.
