Transliteration

viṣṇoḥ pādaprasūtāyā vaiṣṇavīti ca viśrutā | tatra gatvā mahābhāga gṛhītvā'rghyaṃ vidhānataḥ

Translation

விஷ்ணுவின் பாதத்திலிருந்து பிறந்ததால் அவள் ‘வைஷ்ணவி’ எனப் புகழ்பெற்றாள். ஓ மகாபாகா! அங்கே சென்று விதிப்படி அர்க்யம் (நீரர்ப்பணம்) எடுத்துச் சமர்ப்பிக்க வேண்டும்.
