एवं शप्त्वा तदा विप्रावन्यस्मै गां प्रदाय तौ । क्षुधितौ खेदसंयुक्तौ स्वगृहं गन्तुमुद्यतौ
evaṃ śaptvā tadā viprāvanyasmai gāṃ pradāya tau | kṣudhitau khedasaṃyuktau svagṛhaṃ gantumudyatau
இவ்வாறு சபித்து அந்த இரு பிராமணர்கள் அந்தப் பசுவை மற்றொருவருக்கு தானமாக அளித்தனர்; பசியும் சோர்வும் கொண்டு தங்கள் இல்லம் செல்லப் புறப்பட்டனர்।
