पुलस्त्य उवाच । गंगाधरं ततो गच्छेत्सुपुण्यं विमलोदकम् । येन गंगा धृता राजन्निपतन्ती नभस्तलात्
pulastya uvāca | gaṃgādharaṃ tato gacchetsupuṇyaṃ vimalodakam | yena gaṃgā dhṛtā rājannipatantī nabhastalāt
புலஸ்த்யர் கூறினார்—பின்னர் கங்காதர தீர்த்தத்திற்குச் செல்ல வேண்டும்; அங்குள்ள நீர் தூய்மையும் மிகப் புண்ணியமும் உடையது. அரசே, ஆகாயத்திலிருந்து வீழ்ந்த கங்கையை யார் தாங்கினாரோ அவர்.
