pūjayiṣyati saṃprāpte kārtike pūrṇimādine | toyaiḥ phalaiśca vividhairgaṃdhamālyānulepanaiḥ

Translation

கார்த்திகப் பௌர்ணமி வந்தபோது, அவன் அந்தப் புனிதப் பாதச்சுவடினை நீராலும், பலவகை கனிகளாலும், நறுமணப் பொருட்கள், மாலைகள், சந்தனாதி பூச்சுகளாலும் பக்தியுடன் பூஜிக்க வேண்டும்।
