।ययातिरुवाच । स्वागतं ते मुनिश्रेष्ठ सफलं मेऽद्यजीवितम् । कथयस्व प्रसादेन कथामर्बुदसंभवाम्
|yayātiruvāca | svāgataṃ te muniśreṣṭha saphalaṃ me'dyajīvitam | kathayasva prasādena kathāmarbudasaṃbhavām
யயாதி கூறினான்—முனிவர்களில் சிறந்தவரே, வருக; இன்று என் வாழ்வு பயனடைந்தது. கருணையால் அர்புதத்தின் தோற்றக் கதையை எனக்குச் சொல்லுங்கள்.
