अथ तानब्रवीत्सर्वान्मुनीन्किंचित्सविस्मयः । दीर्घायुर्न च बालोऽयं युष्माभिः संप्रकीर्तितः
atha tānabravītsarvānmunīnkiṃcitsavismayaḥ | dīrghāyurna ca bālo'yaṃ yuṣmābhiḥ saṃprakīrtitaḥ
அப்போது அவர் சிறிது வியப்புடன் எல்லா முனிவர்களையும் நோக்கி கூறினார்— “இந்தப் பையன் நீண்ட ஆயுளுடையவன் அல்ல; நீங்கள் புகழ்ந்து கூறியதுபோல் இல்லை.”
