tatra saṃsthāpite liṃge svayaṃ devena śaṃbhunā | yatpātitaṃ purā liṃgaṃ vālakhilyairmaharṣibhiḥ

அங்கே தாமே தேவன் சம்பு லிங்கத்தை நிறுவியபோது, முன்பு வாலகில்ய மகரிஷிகள் வீழ்த்திய அதே லிங்கமே அங்கே பிரதிஷ்டை செய்யப்பட்டது।
