एवमुक्ता च रुद्रेण जाह्नवी नृपसत्तम । कुण्डान्निर्गत्य सा गंगा सम्मुखं प्रययौ तदा
evamuktā ca rudreṇa jāhnavī nṛpasattama | kuṇḍānnirgatya sā gaṃgā sammukhaṃ prayayau tadā
ருத்ரர் இவ்வாறு கூறியதும், அரசர்களில் சிறந்தவனே, ஜாஹ்னவி கங்கை அந்தப் புனிதக் குண்டத்திலிருந்து வெளியே வந்து அப்போது நேராக முன்னே சென்றாள்.
