पुलस्त्य उवाच । कुंडं तु शिवलिंगाख्यं ततो गच्छेन्महीपते । यत्र सा जाह्नवी गुप्ता तिष्ठते भूपसत्तम
pulastya uvāca | kuṃḍaṃ tu śivaliṃgākhyaṃ tato gacchenmahīpate | yatra sā jāhnavī guptā tiṣṭhate bhūpasattama
புலஸ்த்யர் கூறினார்—மண்ணின் அரசே, அதன் பின் ‘சிவலிங்கம்’ எனப்படும் குண்டத்திற்குச் செல்ல வேண்டும்; அங்கே ஜாஹ்னவி (கங்கை) மறைவாகத் தங்கியிருக்கிறாள், அரசர்களில் சிறந்தவரே।
