देव्युवाच । यदि देवाः प्रसन्ना मे यदि देयो वरो मम । आश्रमोऽत्रैव मे पुण्यो जायतां ख्यातिसंयुतः
devyuvāca | yadi devāḥ prasannā me yadi deyo varo mama | āśramo'traiva me puṇyo jāyatāṃ khyātisaṃyutaḥ
தேவி கூறினாள்—தேவர்கள் என்மேல் பிரசன்னராகவும், எனக்கு வரம் அளிக்கப்பட வேண்டுமெனவும் இருந்தால், இங்கேயே புகழுடன் கூடிய என் புனித ஆசிரமம் தோன்றுக.
